Practical Geometry (Geometrical Instruments and their Use)
In this video we discussed about the description and use of various geometrical tools. The tools/ instruments in your geometry box are Graduated Ruler(Scale),Protractor, Set Squares, The compasses, Divider etc.
Ruler is used to draw line segments, and measuring their length.Protractor is used to construct and measure the angles.Set squares are used to draw Perpendicular and parallel lines.Divider is used to Compare the line segments. The Compasses are used to Draw Circles or Part circles(Arcs) etc. In this lesson we discussed How to draw the line segments using ruler, making a copy of a given line segment and making a copy of unknown angle using compasses and ruler. Also we learnt how to draw a circle with given radius, and the different parts of a circle.

In this video we discussed about perpendicular lines and angular bisectors.
the lines which make right angle at intersecting point are called perpendicular lines. we learnt drawing line segments of given length and bisecting them. we also learnt construction of angles and angular bisectors. These angular bisectors and perpendicular bisectors also known as axis of symmetry.

Practical Geometry Lesson-3 | Construction of Angles of special measures | Using Ruler & Compasses
In this video we discussed how to construct some angles of special measures like 30, 60, 90,120, 150, 45, 15 degrees etc. Here we use only ruler and compasses. To construct 30 degrees angle bisect 30 degree angle. To construct a 90 degrees angle you can construct Perpendicular line through a point on the line.
(Note: in this video I have constructed Perpendicular bisector which may not be correct I am sorry for that --Watch the video how to construct perpendicular on a line through a point on it Practical Geometry Lesson-2. Thank you)

Construction of Triangles | Practical Geometry Lesson- 4
In this video lesson we discussed how to check given measures of sides belong to a triangle or not, using the Relationship between the sides of a triangle. It states that i)sum of the lengths of any two sides of a triangle is
greater than the length of the third side and
ii)the difference between the lengths of any two sides of a triangle is less than the length of the third side.
A triangle can be (constructed)drawn in any of the situations given below i.e., if we know the-
(i) Three sides of the triangle.
(ii) Two sides and the angle included between them.
(iii) Two angles and the side included between them.
(iv) Hypotenuse and one adjacent side of a right-angled triangle.
A triangle can also be drawn if two of its sides and a non-included angle are given. However, it is important to remember that this condition is not sufficient to make two triangles, congruent.
In this video lesson we have constructed the triangles with all possible situations given above .
