In this video we discussed about six main trigonometric functions.( there are three terms related to Right Triangle such as Hypotenuse, Opposite Side to θ , Adjacent Side to θ) . There are three basic functions in trigonometry, each of which is one side of a right-angled triangle divided by another.
There are six main trigonometric functions:
Basic Ratios---------Reciprocals
Sine (sin) -------------Cosecant (csc)
Cosine (cos)----------Secant (sec)
Tangent (tan)--------Cotangent (cot)
You may find it helpful to remember Sine, Cosine and Tangent as SOH CAH TOA. ... Because of the relationships between them, Tan θ can also be calculated as: Sin θ / Cos θ. and Cotθ = Cos θ/Sin θ
We also found that Sinθ .Cosecθ=1
Cos θ.Secθ=1
Tanθ.Cotθ = 1

Pythagoras Theorem (Basic trigonometry)
In this video we discussed about the Pythagoras Theorem also known as Pythagorean Theorem. This theorem gives the relation among the three sides of a Right angled Triangle.It states that in any right triangle square of hypotenuse is the sum of the squares of the other two sides. Pythagoras Theorem is used to find the missing side of a right triangle.
We also discussed about the pythagorean triangle and pythagorean triples. In any triangle lengths of all three sides are integers it is known as pythagorean triangle and the sides are pythagorean triples(pythagorean triplet).
We solved few questions on the Pythagoras Theorem.
